I am loving these challenges for D-lish Scraps 5th Birthday !!

Yet another D-lish Scraps 5th Birthday challenge # 7 Colour by Wendy. These colours look so good together and I love yellow at the moment I chose that as my dominant colour on my layout. First I used texture paste with a butterfly stencil and applied lots of water and yellow watercolour. The blue flower from D-lish Scraps June just add paper kit was the perfect finishing touch.

Always in my heart

Hello there! Here is my take on challenge # 3 product by Alz for D-lish Scraps Birthday Challenge. Lots of lovely flowers, flowers, flowers! I used an old range of Basic Grey paper which I love with the Autumn colours and the cute pears. Some gesso, texture paste tree stencil for the background and lots of different kinds of flowers

Pretty girls

D-lish Scraps 5th Birthday Challenge #2 is the sketch from Kylie. I loved this sketch and was so happy I could use alot of my "Just add paper" June Kit from D-lish Scraps. This is such a pretty kit! I was super excited to try using the wire on a layout. It was so much fun making the word Pretty as my title and I will be using the wire again on other layouts.

Life is amazing!

Who doesn't love a rainbow! Or a party! This one was so much fun to put together with all the pretty colours. This is a picture of my daughter after her first friend's school party and she was so excited to have a lolly bag with a party whistle. She had to play right then and there in the carpark.
This one is for D-lish Scraps Birthday Bonanza challenge 4 mood board by Agnus.

young & carefree

I had big plans to create alot this month to boost my mojo and my albums. I love the thought of scrapbooking everyday but usually don't. I have a chance to scrap with my friends midweek and a monthly all day crop which is alot of fun so I really don't have any excuse not to get something done!
I feel great and inspired when a new month starts and new challenges arrive. So if you need direction go check out all the awesome blog challenges it's worth having a go. This layout started with the June sketch from Life.Paper.Scrapbook. I didn't get to upload in time but I am happy with how this turned out with the large shaker box and I am loving the neon frame from Pink fresh studio.

Scrap around the world June challenge

I love yellow it's such a happy colour and it reminds me of many good memories especially in Summer. I only just started wanting to use this colour late last year so this challenge was something I wanted to do yet I had too many ideas and was in awe of the wonderful talented scrapbookers who entered these challenges. One great thing with these ideas is that it gets us out of our comfort zone and trying new things. Thank you scrap around the world for the inspiration. I used the word love and the black frame and of course yellow with a bit of grey to bring it together from the word love in the mood board.

Jot magazine

MRDISRETROGREEN

Wow!! I was so inspired when I saw this moodboard it had to be the first challenge I completed this month. I decided to use a large photo I had printed a few years ago and the trend seems to be going back to that, back to when I started scrapbooking. The added textures and natural fibers made this layout so much fun to create. http://jotmagazine.com/category/mood-board-challenges/

Scrap around the World

http://scraparoundtheworld.blogspot.com.au/

This is the first time I have entered Scrap around the World challenge and I was excited to see the theme Birthday and the pastel colours with a pop of gold glitter. I have seen a lot of paint chip craft on Pinterest and decided to gather some of my favourite colours from my local hardware store and punch out flowers and butterflies in different sizes and shapes to use on a scrapbook page. I did that about 3 months ago and was happy I could finally create and use this idea for this challenge. I added pattern paper and vellum ones from Dear Lizzy collection as well. As I glue each flower and butterfly it became hard to stop adding more and more. I was enjoying the process so much I really needed to step away from the layout before the whole 12 x 12 was covered!! Here are some details.

Scrap the girls May challenge

The month of May has flown by and I haven't had much mojo so at the very last minute I have been creating. I wish I didn't create better under pressure but I just do most months. Online challenges have been great for me to push me to try new things. Scrap the girls has inspired me to create the May challenge. The theme was "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue." I leaned towards the blue theme and used some old piano sheet music as a layer and a new bow from D-lish scraps.
Thanks for the great challenges!!

Molossi Mood Board

Hello there here I am again sharing a recent online challenge with you. This time I was inspired to complete a layout for Molossi's first mood board. I was drawn to the photo of the door and the beautiful colours. I have wanted to create a full border of flowers and I really haven't used that many flowers on a layout before and it was a challenge but I am happy with the results. I have learnt much and now I will be doing more of these as soon as I buy more flowers!!

3 superheros in my life

Hi there, I am scrapping regularly again and loving it thanks to the encouragement of my friends and the many challenges online. I seem to have a theme sometimes and create a few layouts from that one brain storm. This time it was to do with comic books and I was searching for the right comic and came upon this fabric at spotlight. I am so happy that I found something I wanted to use on a layout. It might not stop there though because I have seen a laptop bag made out of the same fabric and it is fabulous!! So here is my layout with my 3 boys for http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/

Show us your stuff April Challenge

I haven't completed many visual prompts as challenges as I usually create from sketches but I must say I enjoyed the process after I finally decide I would use a cut file as my base. I love this photo of my youngest playing in our backyard on a hot summer day. She creates her own fun and add water and she is happy for hours.

Here is my take on this challenge

Sassy Scrappers Mood board

Loved the mood board for Sassy Scrappers April challenge and it didn't take me long to find lots of Gold to add. I enjoyed the planning process but I did leave it to the last minute hence this short post. Thank you for the inspiration my mojo has returned so much so I am on overdrive.

Scrap the girls

How fun was this challenge to scrap a girl photo with boy embellishments! I never realise how much potential that had. I have scrapped photos of my boys dressed as superheros and when I found this photo I knew this was the right challenge to go for it.
