young & carefree

I had big plans to create alot this month to boost my mojo and my albums. I love the thought of scrapbooking everyday but usually don't. I have a chance to scrap with my friends midweek and a monthly all day crop which is alot of fun so I really don't have any excuse not to get something done!
I feel great and inspired when a new month starts and new challenges arrive. So if you need direction go check out all the awesome blog challenges it's worth having a go. This layout started with the June sketch from Life.Paper.Scrapbook. I didn't get to upload in time but I am happy with how this turned out with the large shaker box and I am loving the neon frame from Pink fresh studio.

Scrap around the world June challenge

I love yellow it's such a happy colour and it reminds me of many good memories especially in Summer. I only just started wanting to use this colour late last year so this challenge was something I wanted to do yet I had too many ideas and was in awe of the wonderful talented scrapbookers who entered these challenges. One great thing with these ideas is that it gets us out of our comfort zone and trying new things. Thank you scrap around the world for the inspiration. I used the word love and the black frame and of course yellow with a bit of grey to bring it together from the word love in the mood board.

Scrap the Girls June Challenge

Hi there
I was introduced to world of gelatos and you know what I am going to say... I love them!! All the pretty colours and so easy to use. I put them on my wishlist. I couldn't resist any longer I have watched others use them and now I need them all! Here is my take on the June challenge to take inspiration from scrap the girls new blog banner. Using Gelatos and old range of Basic Grey. I have enjoyed going back into my older collections and using them on current layouts.

Wow!! I was so inspired when I saw this moodboard it had to be the first challenge I completed this month. I decided to use a large photo I had printed a few years ago and the trend seems to be going back to that, back to when I started scrapbooking. The added textures and natural fibers made this layout so much fun to create. http://jotmagazine.com/category/mood-board-challenges/
