What a great challenge from
http://sassyscrappers1.blogspot.com.au/p/blog-page.html for this month June. I had fun putting this together without a sketch. I have alot to be thankful for and it's such a great theme to scrap. I have a feeling this is not the only layout I will scrap about what I am thankful for. Thanks for this thought provoking challenge.

Colourful life
I want to learn to be more arty in my layouts and try something new so I was excited to see the April sketch from http://sassyscrappers1.blogspot.com.au/p/blog-page.html. Even better this sketch was created by my friend and it was her first design a sketch challenge ever! So here is my take on the sketch using light molding paste with the TCW mini 6 x 6 starburst template, watercolours, old ranges of rubons, stencil doodles and sequins. I took this photo as part of the 365 challenge by http://fatmumslim.com.au/category/photo-a-day-2/ on the 21st January 2013 the prompt was what you do ! So of course my photo of my children and my comment on instagram is Raising 5 and this is what I do !!

You make me happy
I love this photo for so long even though Mia was squinting in the bright sun. It has a vintage feel to it that I want to learn to scrap as I usually avoid that style all the time. Some day I will attempt to create vintage. I needed to find motivation to scrapbook and the online challenges has done that. For that I am happy. This is the March challenge from http://sassyscrappers1.blogspot.com.au/

Back to nature
Here is my first monthly challenge from Sassy Scrapper for February. I have really enjoyed this sketch and finally cut into my This and That pack from Echo Park which I am so happy with as it's a great boy range. The chipboard is from The Dusty Attic and the camera pin is from My little bit of Whimsy.

enjoy
Combine my new love for Instagram, Gel Medium, Molding paste and Tim Holtz Distress inks I have finally completed a layout with all of the above. I have been interested in mix media for a while and thought it was about time I had a go. It took me a while to translate what I planned for this and with the help of my new bubbles mask and Mister Huey's white mist it all came together. This is only the beginning because I had so much fun and can't wait to experiment some more.
Studio Calico classic PP, bubbles mask and white mist. A lil' somethin' embellishments including clouds, flowers, bottlecap and banner. A flair for buttons..OH Happy day! Journaling tags and enjoy title from Heidi Swapp.

epic
It's a big word for a batch of chocolate chip cookies but to my children in the school holidays these were epic! So I used a combination of Amy Tangerine sketchbook collection and my other favourite pattern paper called Paper heart by Crate Paper. I used my new Die-namics ticket die and MFT stamps set to make this cute pink Chevron ticket. Super simple and lots of fun!
| Added embellishments of the star and arrow by Heidi Swapp love these!! and the buttons by a flair for buttons. |
